Kappa Delta 2006 Recruitment
Hey KD Ladies! Just wanted to start a thread so we can celebrate our chapters' success stories. USF recruitment just started so I won't know until Saturday, but I did find out yesterday that one of my chapter sister's biological little sister went KD at UCF. Epsilon Omicron got a great girl, and she got the BEST sorority!

The Gamma Sigma chapter made quota for the 2nd year in a row today at East Carolina University, getting 18 girls! I'm so proud of my sisters!! It's hard to think we were the new girls in town just a few years ago!
And welcome wildcatchick!! AOT!!

Well the valparaiso university chapter has deferred rush but they are going through COR right now. The gave away five bids earlier this week and all five were accepted! From what I hear the girls are super excited about KD as well. They have five slots left to fill from graduating seniors to make it to total an I hear they have at least 3 or 4 girls strictly interested in them so i'll keep you guys posted!
Congrats to all the new KDs out there, and all the KD chapters doing so well!

Congrats! I was hoping somebody would post about how Xi did!
How did Pitt's recruitment go overall? I.e. how many made quota/close to quota, etc.

Crashing -
Dani I'm not sure with snap bids but all the sororities but 2 made quota and some had quota additions and the ones that didn't get it were very close. We used the new Release figure method so while quota was low it definitely gave everyone fairly equal footing.

You're always welcome to crash. What was quota? All but 2 making quota- that's awesome!
I'm really glad we used the new release figures. I think it makes the PNMs SO much more realistic. When I rushed in Fall 99 in that damn informal rush thing where it was all open parties until pref invites, everyone thought that they had a chance at the 9th floor, the Bayard house, etc. and then were crushed when they got their pref invites then dropped.

Quota was 11, so like I said it was low but I think it worked out for the best. Quite a few people had 3+ quota additions so there were a lot of women matched to their first choice as well.
The NPC people who were working with the campus made it very conservative due to the fact that they didn't have accurate information or imcomplete information for the past few years. I'm okay with it. We were one of two that had quite a few spots to fill (we had 22 seniors last year!) but we've only got two spots left to fill now so we'll see how the other one does!

Very sorry to barge in, but I just have to tell you that you all got a total of 11 top notch Kappa Delta new members from my sister's graduating high school class. That is not to mention the ones you will probably be getting from Ole Miss in just two short weeks! We have several KD legacies from our town!
You ladies have a nice day!

Well an update on the Zeta Psi's. They have reached total through COR and now are the only chapter that has reached total which is going to be great going through formal recruitment in the Spring!
