Nothing to Watch on TV Tonight? BET Hip Hop Awards

I believe Katt Williams is the host. I'll check out his intro. Was this before or after the arrest?

After his arrest, I will be watching just because it was held in Atlanta. They were talking about it on the radio, and were saying that this actually was a classier, compared to Vibe or Source awards, because they did not serve alcohol at the FOX. Which I thought was good. Another thing they talked about was the fact that there were no awards given to women.

OK . . .

About Jeezy's performance . . . I dont get the need for the dancing hoes Plus, if ur going to have them pole dancing at least hire professionals that know what there doing. I could probably do a better job than some of those chicks . . . . not that have a lot of practice in that area

LOL @ black princess! Ur right, that was tacky. Look like they just jumped up there as high as they could and slid down. I was flipping back and forth (watching daybreak w/Taye Diggs) and I saw what looked like T.I. giving a kiss to Tiny (X-scape). I knew they had a baby together but I thought they weren't together anymore. Will have to watch entire show when they do the repeats.

had absolutely no interest in this awards show, just channel surfing and happened to catch fine ass idris elba. he has the kind of sexiness that.don't.make.no.sense. some quick observations since I was sucked in:

flavor flav. deelishes should be so proud.
I loved busta's speech.
jim jones and juelz on stage with their pants hanging down...... those two looked like......
I like rhymefest's rap delivery.

Well I guess I'm the only one that thought the show was tired and wack.
I thought it would be good with Kat Williams hosting, but he wasn't really as funny as he usually is. He was very funny in his HBO show The Pimp Chronicles.

Now I don't have a bachelors in pole dancing but I was amazed at what the girl in the middle was doing. I don't think those were dancers, I think those were some chicks Jeezy hired straight from the strip club.

And was Busta Rhymes high as a kite?

Hopefully the show will be better for next year. But for this year I was not impressed with BET.

Was that Katt's son that came out with him at one point with the permed hair? I am mad that he comes to his shoulder and he only looked 12. Did you guys know that he has adopted 7 kids throughout the years and he is 34? He was on TJMS Tuesday and Tom asked him. He said the first 2 were together, then there were 3 siblings and I don't know about the last 2. I think he also has 1 biological child as well.

I couldn't watch the whole thing. I saw Katt's intro, and part of Flash getting his award and Baby and Wayne and IMO that was too much.

I liked Busta's speech and the "Walk It Out" performance. The dancing was entertaining. If they had me "Walking It Out" down the aisle, I would've tripped up too many times, they would've escorted me to a seat.

I'll stick with the VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

ETA: Jazzy Pha looks like the posterboy for clogged arteries.
