So in regards to the AZ elections...

The AZ Republic posted an article saying "who" and "what" propositions you should vote for (with the props, yes or no).

So we have one prop that is to increase the minimum wage in AZ, the AZ republic is saying to vote "no" for that one, but then it is saying vote "yes" for the prop that would increase the state representatives salary by $12,000!!!! Are you kidding me!!! Our state reps work 3-4 months a year, get 24K for those 3-4 months and then turn around and go back to their posh 75K (if not higher) jobs. Why would I give them a 12K raise? I can think of better ways to spend that type of money. Maybe on schools, students and god forbid teacher salaries

I am totally amazed! I don't think I've EVER seen the polls so busy! I went at noon, and I was #269. Usually, I vote after work, and am around #120. YIKES!!

I have to drive 30 minutes to my polling place, since its near my parents' house and I forgot to register absentee.. grr. I should get two votes just for that. Haha. Whatever, my mommy will feed me.

I hope its not crowded! I doubt it is, though.. they kind of live in the boonies.

Minimum wage increase was voted for here in Ohio...

Its good because people need to be paid more, but bad because so many people were uneducated on the fact if you vote yes to the increase there was also in fine print that you are also voting for your payroll to be public records....

All we need now is everyone looking at everyones payroll...

Why couldnt we just have the increase without that attached?

No gambling here though, thank goodness. Near my house is the WV border and they have this small town and it is littered with those gambling places, it makes the town look very bad.... I didnt want that to happen here....

On another good note, smoke free Ohio now... YES! Where I live it is already smoke free, but now all of Ohio is going to it... I am thrilled.

First woman house speaker is cool too.
