Time Changes!
Please Our Federal Govenment, Leave OUR Time Alone.
Next year, time change will be 3 weeks earlier.
Let the golfers golf, the farmers farm, the kids start walking instead of riding the bus in the early morning light.
How about the unhappy cows, pigs, and chickens? They dont count?

I almost forgot about it this morning, thankfully my wife remembered and changed the clocks.

Are you kidding? All year long, I look forward to getting in that extra hour of sleep! (In college, it was an extra hour of partying... ah, yes, time does change)

This is fall .....meaning "fallback" ..... you loose an hour of sleep not gaining an extra hr of partying Loosing an hour of sleep is not my idea of happiness

No, you get an extra hour in fall. The clock goes from 2 to 2:59, then back to 2 again.
You lose sleep in the spring, when the clock goes from 1:59 to 3.

ummm, you gain an hour of sleep sweetums.....like when I woke up this morning in a drunken haze thinking it was 1:00 in the afternoon.......and then realizing that it was only noon.....thus, going back to sleep for another hour.

I'd like to get rid of it as well. It really plays havok with my fellow insomniac's time clock. We can thank Ben Franklin for the dubious daylight saving time.
I'm all for getting rid of it.

I hate it too, I think we should just stay on DST.
On another note, does anyone else have Sprint for their cell phones? My phone didn't pick up the time change and I cannot find anywhere in the phone where I am supposed to update it myself...

exactly, not to mention that they have it backwards! (you need more light in the fall when it's darker normally)
seriously though, why cause all this trouble if they like DST so much just leave it, or leave it at regular time

It's because otherwise it gets light at like 3-4 in the morning during the summer... so we tack that on to the end of the day instead. But there's no getting extra light out of the winter months if it's dark at morning and again at 6pm

I used to have Sprint and it always took several hours for the phone to change to the correct time.
