Thumbs up The Prestige

Just saw the new Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman movie The Prestige.

A riveting film with lots of plot twists and turns.

While I saw some of the twists ahead of time, The final one took me by surprise. One of the better moives I've seen all year.

I see a big future for Christian Bale.

Bale is a very good actor - he was awesome in "American Psycho," and has been good in just about all his movies.

The cast looks good, so I may try to catch it (although my movie time is slim).

There are two movies. The Illunsionist had edward norton and paul giamatti and jessic biel in it.

I believe the plots are slightly similar but both are supposed to be excellent movies.

LOVED IT!

The Prestige was amazing! The Illusionist not as good, imo.

Hugh Jackson is amazing and can act so much like another person that you have to look twice to see that it's still him.

Christian Bale is also awesome.
(I thought it was funny that everyone was doing different accents than their natural one. Perhaps I'm easily amused though)

My favorite site for movie reviews is www.ericdsnider.com He's a comedy writer and does columns as well as an movie reviews (I get them emailed to me every friday)
