Lifetime movie based on ZTA Special Initiate Geralyn Lucas' book
Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy
ZTA Chapters around the country will gather around their TV sets on Monday, Oct. 23, as Lifetime Television premiers the movie, ‘Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy,” based on the book by ZTA Convention 2006 Special Initiate Geralyn Lucas.
The move airs on Lifetime at 9 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. CT. Check local listings for MT and for the specific channel in your area. “Why I Wore Lipstick” stars Sarah Chalke from NBC’s “Scrubs” and Jay Harrington from ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.”
Zeta Tau Alpha is Lifetimes’ College Outreach Partner for the premier. Lifetime has provided ZTA chapters with “Courage Nights in a Box,” including discussions guides and educational materials.
Lifetime will also honor ZTA for our efforts in breast cancer education and research at its Heroes' Celebrations before the premieres of the movie in New York City on October 11 and Los Angeles on October 17.
