Rome
I love this show. When I originally saw the previews back in 2004, I wasn't so sure about it. But I watched it anyway and I am so glad that I did. I love this show. The first season was good and this season is turning out great. I love what's gone on in the way of character development for Octavian. I wished that we wouldn't have come in so close to the end of Caesar's life, but I think that the other characters are getting more of a chance to shine now. Every episode makes me want to read up on Ancient Rome.
Who else is watching?

I'm waiting for the part where Marc Anthony leaves Atia for Cleopatra and when Octavian pursues them! haha!!!! I love the plot twists... it's a shame about Vorenus's children... that man needs SERIOUS anger management classes

No joke, but I would have cut ol' boy's head off too.
Sometimes this show is a little hard to watch, so I watch it OnDemand. That way I can fast forward.

EXACTLY!!!!!
I love this show. Every week I say that I am not going to watch and wait until the end of the season and watch them all.
Poor Brutus. hehhehehehe. He cant catch a break for anything. Everything he plans, fails. Marc Antony and Octavius are going to gang up and kick his rear. I am sometimes distracted by how much he favors Joel Osteen.
HBO On demand have all these shorts that give you background on the making of ROME. One short talked about the historical authenticity. That was pretty interesting.

Googled
I was somewhat familiar with the history behind it but only on characters (people) like Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony and Brutus. So yesterday, while avoiding work, I googled and found some more detailed info on Octavian and Atia. Apparently, history has her recorded as a much more gentle, compassionate mother. The rest of the stuff seems pretty right on point. I can't wait until....nevermind. I won't spoil it. I'm interested to see how the writers will handle some of the twists and turns that should be coming.

YES!!! I really do wonder do they hurt animals in the process of making this show...cuz those horses
HBO needs to handle all of their on demand shows the same. I cant see the previous and next week preview when I watch on demand.
At least Brutus went out like a man. What really trips me out is that when commanders decide to take a stand and fight. Brutus was like ' this is as good a place to die as any'. I'd bet those soldiers probably felt differently.

I found it very ironic he died like Ceasar(sp) I thought Marc Anthony would deliver the last blow

I love Rome. I love Atia. She is such a slut. If you can still find it in a rental store try and get the old BBC series I Claudius.

Absolutely FAbulous
One of the best HBO shows yet!
I just loved how the kids made a paper hat with Cicero's note
What about Titus Pullo? His job with Cicero was 1st class.

Because he is RARELY first class.
He's a loyal friend. He and Verenus LUCKY!. Whenev everyone else is suffering...they are propering. How lucky is it that Verenus his Marc Antony's right hand and Pullo is down with Octavian- they the two leaders band together.
Can anyone tell me what were the previews for the upcoming episode were?

LOL...that was a trip. But I liked his reaction. First I thought he was like "dang, now i can't go to the army again" but then a little smile crept up on his face and he picked her up. So sweet. Let's pray no one f's with his family.
