New DG/Girl Scout Program

I read today of a new DG-Girl Scout initiative that combine service for sight programs with the Scouts. The program is described on the DG website (check under What's New). Scouts earn a special DG badge for completing the program. It sounds like a nice way for alumnae and collegians to get involved in a different spin on service for sight.

This is WONDERFUL! I wonder whose idea this was - she should be lauded! Marie, you ought to post this in the "Sororities vs. Girl Scouts" thread.

Thanks for your kind words--I'm blushing.

I came up with the idea for the Foundation patch program over four years ago and finally got the courage to share it with the Foundation about a year and half ago. The DGs that work for the Foundation gave me great feedback and support and I'm so excited that I got to unveil this program at Convention.
