Women of Color Leadership Conference

Dear Friends, Student Service Providers, and Community Leaders::
On behalf of the Rho Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., I invite you and your students and/or constituents to attend our Women of Color Leadership Conference (“WCLC”). The WCLC will be held on Saturday,November 4, 2006, from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey. The WCLC endeavors to empower women of color by providing a forum in which they can obtain knowledge to develop their leadership skil ls and enhance professional growth. This conference offers workshops promoting leadership development, economic independence, positive relationships, and career advancement. The event will culminate with a networking reception designed to help women
professionals and future professionals connect with one another and develop future business relationships and will feature a prominent keynote speaker. This is an opportunity that you and your students and/or constituents cannot afford to miss — registration is only $30 and includes the cost of all conference materials and the networking reception.
