OSU vs Texas

Nothing like watching Texas getting their asses handed to them. I don't know if that is what was the most entertaining, or maybe it was the orange cowboy uniforms on the Texas band? 'You're my faaaavorite deputy'.

Nice job OSU.

We didn't lose that game- OSU won it.

I am not happy about the outcome, but I watched a damn good game tonight and I do salute OSU for a job well done. We all have our sides, but greatness must be appreciated no matter who achieved it.

This was one hell of a good game.

Hell of a good game? I guess if you consider 'getting stomped' a 'hell of a good game', then I'd agree with you. But, OSU dominated them the entire game, so really it was lopsided.

I wouldn't really call it a stomping...and I'm a 100% true Buckeye. OSU had a lot of penalities and the poor field goal kicker missed what we OSU fans could normally always count on, field goals. In my opinion..a stomping is what Notre Dame did to Penn State..ouch. But anyways..we won a good game and I'm happy about that. GO BUCKS! I can hang my Buckeye necklace up until next week vs. UC when I will wear it once again with pride.

Dominated- yes. Stomped- no.

OSU's offense was art in motion. Any true football fan, regardless of alma mater, would have to admit that was a beautiful sight.

346 Total Yards for OSU
328 Total Yards for us.

First downs: OSU 17, Us 20

Rushing - OSU 79, Us 176

Passing: OSU 269, Us 154

Time of posession: OSU 29:34, Us 30:26

This was hardly a dominated football game or a stomping.

We had two costly turnovers, one at the OSU 2 and one at our own what, 40 yard line? That went to 10 points off of turnovers. Colt McCoy threw the ball well enough to win the game. He had atleast 4 or 5 big passes dropped.

I am not trying to discredit OSU at all......they are a great football team and I think they are completely legit. Troy Smith is really damn good. I think with Tarrel Brown in the game it would hvae been very different. I'm glad Mack showed some character though...he could have pulled a Bobby Bowden and suspended him the week after the biggest game of the season. Aaron Ross was clearly outmatched and we had to always slide Michael Griffin over from the Safety spot to help out.......which freed up Gonzalez just about every time.

Our playmakers really let Colt McCoy down.......I think that was one of the biggest factors of the game.

This was a hardly lopsided game. You're an idiot.

Well lets be honest...A win for OSU is probably bittersweet, considering they have COLUMBUS OHIO to go home to. Oh yeah, great town, lets set it on fire after we win the national title, great idea.

Seriously though, good job OSU, enjoy the time at the top...click, clack, (I think you hear us comin)

Haha, i've just been wanting to do that, night kids

Put up all the stats you want, the one that matters is SCOREBOARD.

Yeah thanks, I realize that. Usually when one team scores more than the other its called a win. You were running your mouth, again, and trying to say it was some kind of lopsided ass beating.......when it was everything but. We lost that game for ourselves.........two bad turnovers and not making the plays.

I am dissapointed about the game........but I think it gives all of us in Austin something to look forward to.

You know, that's my home town your talking about. Have you spent any meaningful time there?

We're not talking Ann Arbor, South Bend, Lincoln or even Austin (though not to the extent of the others) -- where the university is probably the biggest single entity there. We're talking about the second largest city in Ohio, with considerable industry, scientific infrastructure and the home to many national businesses. It is also the capital of a politically important state.

Ohio State Football IS huge there -- but it's a pretty nice city. Even outside of football season. When you listen to a sports writer or braodcaster, you're listening to someone with a vested interested in building up sports. Columbus is far more than a major university town.

Columbus has a lot going for it besides THE Ohio State University (I hate that arrogance). You don't define a city like Columbus has become by what goes on in a two square mile area.

Besides, in the end, no matter how close the statistics are, the final score is pretty convincing. As to whether this player or that might have made a difference, the same might be said of last year's game at Columbus where a fairly important player for Ohio State was standing on the sideline.

Take away two turnovers and its a 7-14 game......probobly 14-14 considering we fumbled on the f**king 2 yard line.

I've only been to Columbus for the school, but nevertheless, I really didn't like it. Granted, I'm probably biased because I hate OSU. As for Austin, I think its a stand alone town, with a lot to offer.
