When I read the article's headline, I said to my husband, "I bet it was rainier beer." The Bear shows real intelligence.
Rainier Beer is excellent beer. Too bad you can't get it anywhere but the far west. I love it!

This reminds me of the MGM lion at the beginning of the McKenzie Bros. movie "Strange Brew" (inside joke for those of you who seen the movie, thus no explanation is required).

Where in the HAYLE have you been!!! How are ya doing??? YOu have been MIA too long!!! It's good to see you are Back in the game...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All the veterinarians I work with were crackin' up at this story... My question was, how did the bear get into the cooler, then open up the beer to taste it???
But, needless to say, I wondered if it had a hang over and would it be back again looking for beer to make it an alcoholic???
Oh well...
Girl, what you been up to? The GC outlets I hang out at (AKA, DST) have been kinda slow, and I have been VERY busy workwise.
But please, PM me and lemme know what's up with you.
[end hijack]
Funny and cute story!
That bear really has sophisticated tastes in beer if he hated the mass-marketed beer.
Could be a good marketing ploy: "Bear Knows Beer"
