Extreme Championship Wrestling. It was around for a little while in the 90's and then went under. WWE bought the rights to it and is now reviving it.

I haven't seen it yet but I hope it can make it. Hopefully it will be pretty good on its own and not have a lot of "McMahon influence" on the surface after awhile.

I was sorta dissapointed by the first show. The matches were squash, and the whole Cena/Edge/Van Dam thing was just weird.
Hope the next show is better, but I'm glad ECW is back...though McMahon should have done this when he first purchased ECW, not several years after when wrestling is no longer popular in the mainstream.

I have a dumb question, because my husband watches Raw every week...is McMahon ACTUALLY the owner and chairman of WWE, or is he just an actor like everyone else?? (Yes, I said it, wrestlers are ACTORS)

Yeah, I know. Shane is one of the incentives for females to watch WWE with their SO (along with the Spirit Squad and John Cena ).

We had a poster in the place where I work for the latest ECW pay-per-view event (we show them) and I was looking at it one day because the guy on it really resembles one of my classmates. I then took a closer look and realized this guy HAD NO BODY HAIR. I then had a 20 minute conversation with my co-workers to figure out if he shaved, Naired, or waxed.

It's not a cool place to work during a PPV.

I could imagine, we always grab seats at the bar to avoid the crazieness. Some people act as if they are there at the arena and well and chant and stuff like that which is taking it a wee bit too far.
