I think "exit-pupil" is on it

Brother John,

I think Jono is bidding on this one. I will have to go to eBay to verify. Jono almost always goes after the good ones!

Yours in ZAX,

Mike Raymond,
Zeta-Upsilon Zeta

Part 2: I just checked and Jono is bidding on it.

Yep. At 3/8" though, it's definitely a miniature. Super-tiny. Very odd to see a plain mini, but I always like the odd ones because I'm an oddball.

Appreciate your consideration.

ZAX,
Jono

Would it really kill these people to go to Google and type in +"Greek Alphabet"? I guarantee in less then 30 seconds they could have the whole Greek alphabet in front of them, and not only figure out which way is up on the pin, but also determine which group it is from. I realize that's asking a lot, but come on.

Perhaps one of us can ensure that these badges return to the fold.

Yes, badges have been made in three sizes, the miniature being the smallest and only about 3/8" in diameter - slightly larger than a pencil eraser - and more often than not with 9 pearls (or gems) in the Lambda instead of 11. They are often though of as "sweetheart pins", although I have seen quite a few engraved with a brother's zeta number. So tiny! It's amazing they can make one so small.

Don't, however, think only about eBay as a place to buy badges.

Our website, lambdachi.org, will take you to the website of Masters of Design/Legacy / Burr, Patterson and Auld / Herff Jones - whew! The badges currently depicted look to be of better quality than those which had been made by Masters of Design. Best of all, the prices have not gone up.

If you think the price of gasoline has been rising, you should see gold. A year ago it was $414 an ounce. At the beginning of this year it was $540 and today it hit $680.

And yet a brand new LCA badge with jewels is still reasonably priced. Yesterday I ordered one on line with all amethysts in the Lambda for $119. Considering the price of gold - and the inevitable future price increases - it's a bargain! And believe me, the price WILL go up.

Get 'em while they're hot.

In ZAX,
Jono

Cool

Watch all LXA Badges along with another Brother more in the know than me.

eli as far as having someone do it, it would cost a heck of a lot more.
