Spring clothing advice/ dresses for weddings thread

We always have a bunch of these threads starting this time of the year.

I bought this dress to wear to a wedding next month:
http://www.anntaylorloft.com/atlLMPr...oduct_Id=69611 and also bought the matching shoes. I bought a silver purse elsewhere.

What I need now is a wrap or cardigan or little jacket/shrug or something.

I checked out the shrug sweater they suggested when I was at the mall on Saturday. Didn't like it, didn't like the quality/material (would've snagged just by looking at it) and sure as hell wasn't going to spend $59 on it (I rarely wear things like that to begin with, so i'm not going to get a lot of use out of it).

Any ideas of what I can do? I'd like to spend $35 or under. I looked all over the mall and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for the help, and post away your own clothing needs!

I just bought a bridesmaid dress at JCPenney, and they have some really cute shrugs and stuff for pretty cheap. It should all be on their website...

So I LOVE this dress....

http://www.bridesave.com/search/inde...oduct_id=13956

All 3 weddings I am in this fall did not go with this dress. It must be a plain fall because all the dresses they did pick are nice, but nothing great, no frills or sequins or anything, just plain...

I wish I was invited to one of the weddings not in it and I would wear this dress..

I thought about just buying it, but I dont know if I have anywhere to wear it.... I am in love with the dress though.

Oh I love that dress and wanted it but I have no $$$ left. I think a simple white cardigan or wrap would look nice with that - regular Ann Taylor has been putting their wraps on sale a lot, otherwise somewhere like Macy's might have a nice deal on it.

My cousin is getting married in November and these are her bridesmaid's dresses (they will be a dark plum color)!

danie, that dress is darling!!i saw a crocheted white shrug at white house/black market that i think would look great with that dress. whbm does have a website-i tried to see if that shrug was on it, but could not get the site to open.

i think talbots had some wrap/stole sort of things that came in solid colors and looked like satin.
