AXE Shower
One lucky fraternity wins a bathroom makeover

____Posters lined the halls of the Lambda Chi Alpha House. Ads were scattered throughout The Oklahoma Daily. Letters were mailed out to the family and friends of the fraternity members. Facebook messages were sent out to student groups asking for their help. The members of Lambda Chi Alpha checked the AXE Web site daily.
____ The members of Lambda Chi Alpha spent two weeks gathering support from OU students and their families, encouraging them to vote their shower as the dirtiest in the AXE Shower “Pimp My Fraternity Shower” challenge. To advertise their new shower gel, AXE sponsored a contest to find the grimiest, most disgusting shower in fraternity houses across the country. Beating out more than 400 other entries, Lambda Chi Alpha won 25 percent of all the votes on the official challenge Web site,
www.pimpmyfraternityshower.com, and claimed the title of the filthiest shower in America.
