help!

I'm trying to work on an alcohol awarness module for the ladies of my house. I thought it would be interesting to give examples of what really can happen - like getting your charter taken away, probation, etc. If they see it as being real, maybe it will help a little.

Hello and welcome to GC, Rose! Please introduce yourself in our AOII Roll Call thread.

I'm quite sure there are examples of many collegiate student groups who have been penalized due to alcohol violations. Have you met with your school's greek advisor and/or your student center/student union advisor to ask what penalties a student or student group would have due to an alcohol violation? You also may want to contact your school's housing department and ask them the penalties for alcohol use and possession in student housing? Remember, it's not just sororities and fraternities, it's also a college and university issue. As for AOII, you need to utilize the resources already in place for your office and your chapter (officer files and manuals, AAC, CNS, etc.). These should provide you with the appropriate information for your presentation. If you cannot locate these you need to ask your CP, CRC, or CA for assistance.

To minimize any inappropriate comments, I'm going to go ahead and lock the thread. If anyone has any further questions on this topic please PM me.
