I had a meeting at George Washington University yesterday and noticed the following.
Apparently there was an Incoming Freshmen reception in the big student center. I noticed that Panhellenic had a table set up outside with fliers regarding Recruitment 2006. Very smart ladies!!!

....but some are more equal than others.
We did the same thing at Boston U.; I'm surprised more schools don't do it, although I'm not sure if the school administration is as open to these events at all schools.
It definitely worked well for us, and personally, I started seriously considering the Greek system when I talked to some fraternity members at orientation.
