Dana Reeve (Christopher Reeve's widow) passes away

of cancer. How sad. What an incredible couple they were.

very sad. I don't think that I knew she had cancer.

ETA: I guess I did know (per the other thread in N & P)

My thoughts are of their son. Being 13 is hard enough and add to mix losing both parents. The poor kid.

I said the exact same thing in the other thread; I cannot imagine what the kid must be going through right now.

That's the first thing I thought when I heard the news this morning.

It really is so sad. But if that kid is anything like his parents, he has great strength and will persevere.

So did I.

I just read it via yahoo and my thoughts immediately went to their son. Poor kid. To lose both your parents at such a young age and plus, hasn't it been less than 2 years since Christopher died?

I believe he died in 2004 so that'd be right. So tragic. What an amazing couple.

Unhappy

I was very sad when I heard it on the evening news. Condolences go out to the family, especially Will.
