Question If You Could Live Anywhere Else...

If you could live anywhere else in the country, where would it be?

I think I'd choose Statesboro or Valdosta, GA.

I love Michigan, but I'd probably move to Brooklyn, NY since the other side of my family is there.

Out of anywhere in the whole country? Can I ask why?

Sorry, I just think people's answers will be more interesting with explanations. Especially the more nonstandard answers.

If I could live anywhere in the whole country, I think I would have to pick DC ... I am an East Coast girl (at least, I think I am so far!), DC is not too far north or south, the public transportation is good, and there is lots to do

New York City. I first went there when I had an internship in 1994 and since then I've felt that it's my second home.

I love NY but I think I'd want to be somewhere warmer.

I'd like to live in Charleston, because it's just an adorable, laid-back Southern town.

Ohh I agree with Laura too... Nashville is awesome

Big move you have planned there!

I've lived in NYC & DC, and loved both at the time. I think I'd like to live in a smaller town in Virginia, or in either Williamsburg or Charlottesville. I wouldn't want to be too far from a big city, but I like the countryside.

There's another town, but I'm going to play that one close to the vest. I just wish places were more like when I was younger!

Hey, they're 5 1/2 hours away--you're talking about the largest state east of the Mississippi!

I'm not sure -- maybe Portland or Vermont, but I really like where I am. Mr. valkyrie is obsessed with Detroit, but I'm never moving back to the midwest, ever.

naples is a pretty fabulous place to live(at least when the snowbirds are back up north!)

if i had to choose another place, i think it would be tallahassee, birmingham or an atlanta suburb

I highly recommend my current Atlanta suburb! Vinings rocks.

If I were going to stay in Atlanta, I would definitely stay in the northwest Atlanta area.

I currently live in The Smynings and love it. It's a great suburb and I'm only 15 minutes from my work in Midtown.

If I could live anywhere else, I'd move back to South Florida in a heartbeat. The sun, beach, warm temperatures year around, and my family.

Anchorage, Alaska. I love the vibe of the city, enjoyed meeting the people, and think I could find a home there. I'd have all the outdoor activities I could want, and then I'd be able to relax in a decent-sized city.
