Question What do you all think?

This is something I've been curious about for the longest. In my undergrad chapter we had a member who was said to be bisexual, and in the other sororities there were women who were openly gay (but they "came out" after they crossed). My question to everyone is, have you had openly gay/lesbian aspirants, or members who were found to be gay after they became members? Have they been shown love and compassion, or shunned? Have you ever turned anyone away because of their sexual preference?
BTW, I am not trying to start a war or any conflict of any kind, I would just like to know people handled the situation if it has occurred.

Thumbs up

Zeta does not have a question for membership that asks for one's sexual orientation. Once again, if a woman is able to EXEMPLIFY and EXPLOIT the principles of SCHOLARSHIP, SERVICE, SISTERLY LOVE and FINER WOMANHOOD, she is in essence a Zeta girl—and trust me, this is much easier said than done . I have never had to address the issue of a "lesbian aspirant" and I should never have to, because I shouldn’t be aware of what you do behind closed doors. If I, as a Soror, am aware of and have had to discuss with you, as an aspirant, your sexual indiscretions, be you heterosexual or homosexual, then you are not exhibiting Finer Womanhood, and thus probably not qualified to wear the letters of ZPB. I have Sisterly Love for ALL my Sorors, with whatever creed, race, religion, orientation or disability they bring to the table, if they answer the call of Zeta and hold their oath ever before them daily.
