Join the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Team, New York Cares and 10,000 volunteers for the 9th Annual Volunteer Serve-A-Thon - an incredible day of hands-on volunteering at New York City public schools which
raises money for New York Cares' year-round volunteer programs.
On Saturday, October 14, 2000, New York Cares Day 2000, we will be painting and cleaning 1 of the 110 public schools throughout the 5 boroughs as we strive
to put the spotlight on volunteerism and help to raise more than $100,000 to fund New York Cares' year-round volunteer programs.

New York Cares is a nonprofit organization that plans more than 300 hands-on volunteer projects every month to help New York City's neediest residents. Volunteers tutor children, neediest residents. Volunteers tutor children, feed the hungry, assist people living with HIV/AIDS, revitalize gardens, take homeless children on recreational outings, bridge the Digital Divide, visit the elderly, and do so much more. Projects happen in the mornings, in the evenings, and on weekends. And, New York Cares offers a range of commitment levels so volunteers can give a few hours per week, or a few hours per year.

After you have registered we'll send you a pledge form and an information packet. Also pledge forms can also be downloaded from nycares.org. Ask family, friends,
neighbors, and co-works for pledge money to support New York Cares Day 2000 and other New York Cares volunteer programs just like it. Volunteer fundraisers who raise $50 or more qualify for great prizes, from New York Cares!
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Team's site assignment will be announced soon. Rain or shine, be prepared to work hard, get dirty, and have FUN! All projects will begin by 10:00am and end by 3:00pm.
