Red face Stupid Bowl 2006.

2.5 Mil for 1/2 Minute Ad.

135 Mil. People will be watching it.

Many are looking forward to the Commercials especially at 1/2 Time, the part that keeps Us Drones Watching until the Second Half.

Well, it is usaually Anticlimatic for sure.

Undecided on Whom to Root For!

God, I hope there is something else on TV and Sat Dish that night!

I am so happy for this thread.

Every friggin' bar that I've been to for the past couple weeks has been playing that stupid "Pittsburgh's going to the Superbowl" song. So irritating.

Also, the other night, a drunk guy in a Steelers jersey asked me if I was a Steelers fan. I said "No, I'm a Philly girl." He said, "I'm sorry. God hates you."

Gotta love Penn State.

I reserve the right to gloat if the Steelers lose. They'll probably win but I reserve that right.

Actually, the last few games have been close, good ones.

There hasn't been much talk in Boston about the game, with the Pats not being in it for the first time in a couple of years.

I've been to five of these things -- and I think four of them were blowouts.

Lots of hype and a week later, they're a distant memory.

I was working in Detroit TV the last time the game was played there, and I'm kind of surprised it's back because the big hitters who attended the game complained that they couldn't play golf, etc. during the week leading up...

Whatever.

Believe me I don't think they'll have anything to complain about this year. Detroit has created ALOT of stuff for out of towners to enjoy. It's not the same Detroit it was back then.

How about anywhere from $30-$50 just to f*cking park within 2 miles of downtown.

You know I'm not putting down the city. I enjoyed living there and have some really fond memories.

SuperBowl XVI day was one of the coldest I can remember, though, and there was a lot of complaining.

Just hope you don't get a huge snow storm tomorrow.

Here, it looks like snow falling, but it's landing as rain. Nothing has stuck yet. My ex-husband took my son down to Cobo for the NFL Experience. They left at 10:30 this morning and aren't home yet. Either they're having fun or can't get back for some reason, but they haven't called and aren't answering the cell phone. Ah well, we're going to eat dinner without the kid. Hopefully he got to go to Mexican Town or something ...

That's why you take the shuttles down there. I'm thinking about going with everyone tonite and taking the shuttle from Fairlane there, but they all wana go to the bars and I'm definitely not down with that.

OK so we tried to take the shuttle down last night but they said they were stopping them because of the amount of people and they weren't sure about the weather. So we drove, parked like a mile or so away in one of the towers (Rick, it was off Lafayette and Orleans)... my pants were wet up to my knees and my socks were soaked. It was nuts! BUT a really good experience and there were so many Steelers fans!
