Suggestions for noncollegiate sorority
hey gang....I don't know how appropriate this question is, but any help is appreciated...I'm not asking for any kind of personal info, just suggestions.
I'm the President/Founding member of the only Phi Beta Psi chapter in NYC...we've been through quite a bit of ups and downs but have came to the realization that to keep the chapter close, and really feeling like a SORORITY (as opposed to a non-academic group that just hangs out a whole lot) we need to do things within chapter more like a campus based GLO, particularly when it comes to recruitment...we have spoken to our National Officers and they have given us the go-ahead, but had no suggestions to offer us...the past 3 recruitment's we have implemented many things to make the intake and new member periods more 'GLO-like'......can anyone offer any suggestions (in all areas, not just recruitment) to help with this task?
Aside from recruitment, the chapter really lacks a sense of sisterhood...there are only a few very 'gung-ho' Sisters who are always in letters and have tons of spirit...how can we create more of a sense of pride and sisterhood?
LOL i know this question is kinda strange, but again, any input would be greatly appreciated.
