Happy Holiday from the Brothers of the Rising Sun
Happy Holiday
From
Willie J. Williams
For the seeds that you did sow
If we would think of others, instead of ourselves,
In going through life’s perilous way,
We’d make others happy, along with ourselves,
And make for a brighter day.
If we would throw away self pity, and leave it there,
And think of the worries of others,
Your troubles will be much easier to bear,
You’ll feel like sister and brothers.
If we would shed sunshine in someone darkened path,
Just think of the good that you would do,
To some lonely friend or foe,
It would be better for others as well as for you
For the seeds that you did sow.
