Also, whether someone is a granny or not really should have no affect on what is done to her if she resists arrest. It was only used in the headline because it makes it sound like a good story. Yeah, she was 68, but there are 28 year old grandmothers out there too (a woman has a daughter at 14, and that daughter has a daughter at 14).
Personally, i'd rather be tasered than shot.
And it's likely a better option for an older person, too. Someone of that age could very likely be on blood thinners or something, and would have a good chance of dying from getting shot.
