Hey ladies...

I just got back from my LONG LONG LONG week and a half of craziness!

I quit my job this past week, Thursday was my last day. I was sent home because I was crazy dizzy. Im having some weird health issues - please pray that everything is okay. Im going to the doctors this afternoon.

Friday I drove 4 hours to good ol Maryland for ACHIEVE training. It was great to see some old friends and meet some new people... everyone was so wonderful and its going to be a great program... I cant wait to see some of you at RLCs. I am at Pittsburgh and New Jersey.

Sunday was the Open House for the new HQ. I reccomend that everyone makes the trip some time. It was really cool to see the historical thingers and meet lots of cool people. MANY past GAs... I have a picture of me and Veachy!!! (sp?) She is such a great and beautiful woman!

I also was standing there, not really knowing anyone well and I see... SOME GAMMA GAMMAS! I was so excited to see my chapter sisters! Woo!

THEN I got to drive on the I-95 parkinglot back to Allentown PA... Let me say that I-95 driving through Delaware was HORRIBLE... stupid Delaware! The drive took 4.5 hours and not the 3 it should have been.

MY DAD CALLED ME - I was in Chester, PA. Now those of you who know about my family history, I havent talked to him in like six months. He said hes getting his act together... so we'll see.

I get to Cory's in A-Town and SLEEP.

Monday I had an interview at a Catholic school in Reading. It went so well, the sister who interviewed me was so nice, and she looked at my mangement plan and LOVED it and said its everything they look for. She was basically offering me the job right then and there... She had to talk to the Diocese. The job would start in January and would be teaching 6,7,8th grade science (my specialty!) and homeroom, english and social studies.

So I drive four hours back to Pittsburgh. I decide to not sub today so I can rest and get better... I get a phone call today and it was Sister Bernedette who interviewed me. She said that the diocese would prefer to select a canidate who is local.

I cant get a stupid job and now Im stuck subbing (better than the daycare... but not steady and no benefits) and I wont be able to afford anything and Im just a little angry. Whats wrong with me and not being able to get a job? The only luck Ive had was with that last school and it was such a great place and I was so excited.... and now look.

Ugh.

Well atleast I have RLCs to look forward to.

Yes, I need a Cali weekend.

I am still concidering coming out for LaVerne's formal this spring - and to hang out... I just dont know about transportation anymore since Crystal moved (old plan: I drive to Mi, we drive to Ca) Im thinking of going via train... I know I cannot make the flight.

I don't drive often(since i have no car), but I can and I like to take road trips

I think you should both come out if they do the alumnae trip to Vegas this summer
