TKE on the news in SC...

last week my chapter (Rho-Omega) participated in a canned food drive. In a week and a day we collected almost 1500 pounds of food and almost a $1000 which will be donated to the Harvest Hope Food Bank in Columbia. I believe that this is the 2nd time this semester that we have raised over $1000 for Harvest Hope (the first time being in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina when we collected close to $1200). On Wednesday of this week our philanthropy chair and another brother (who happens to be on the Board of Directors of the Relay For Life program at USC I believe) will go to one of the local TV stations for an interview. One station already had something about us and the canned food drive on one night two weeks ago (didnt get to see it cause I was stuck in class). Hopefully this is another step towards making TKE the best fraternity on USC's campus.
