I received some recruitment info from the Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Does anyone out there have any practical info (other than what's on the website)

It's one of the top two or three communications schools in the country in my opinion. I was extremely close to going there for undergrad before I decided on Boston U.

Syracuse itself isn't one of my favorite cities; although I think the Syracuse campus is great, I'm not a huge fan of the surrounding city. Also, they get massive amounts of snow in the winter, something to keep in mind.
