Our website has a link related to hurricane Katrina and ways to donate. Alpha Phi has special funds set aside for sisteres in emrgency situations. We do not have collegiate chapters there but there are alum chapters in the area. Check out our website if you'd like to contribute.
Also, other GLO sisters have been affected - be sensitive to that and offer words of support and prayers when you can. If you have them on your campus, might I suggest a note or words of encouragement to them just to let them know we are ALL sisters regardless of our affiliation and we are united by the spirit of sisterhood and love.
While it doesn't necessarily impact us directly, we can all be a part of the efforts and send our thoughts and prayers wishes to the people of the south by helping those closest to us.
