Hotep Brothers. Come on BROTHERS! Let us start making plans to turn HOUSTON OUT! Brothers, Original Ape, Professor let us ALL make plans to fellowship and live the splendor of OUR MAJESTIC HOUSE OF ALPHA and exemplify GOODWILL as being the MONARCH of OUR HOUSE! Damn, I am getting charged up! I might be sent home from work tonight since I work in a controlled workplace and am under video camera. I am going to rub down with some rubbing alcohol, stretch, and start stepping when I report to my job. The "PILGRIMS" are probably gonna think I've taken some clients psychotropic medication, as I will be A-Training and Transforming throughout the entire facility for a few hours all the while monitoring "Jerry's Kids!"

Yes, its always good to be an Alphaman. . . It can also be expensive. I'm in process of building my dream home and must watch every dime i spend. I really should just give my check to Constance and stop worrying. She spends money like . . . well, I'm off the topic.

I am saving up for the anniversary. I plan to host a reception for my chapter and other brothers. To that end, my budget is short till the end of the year. But next year, I'm not missing nothing.

Now frat if you will allow me lean on the shield I might be able to work something out.

Hotep Brothers. Come on brothers! The time is nearing for some Texas Hospitality to be shown us. As we draw near to that time when we assemble in that swealtering heat of Houston make sure you provide your CHAPTER HOSPITALITY SUITE INFO. Who is going to have the best from the Midwest, Eastcoast, Westcoast, etc. Any brother willing to guess what gift one will receive for shelling out that registration fee? I am willing to state a black convention bag, w/NOTHING but a souvenir journal will be given us. Of course, there will be a hotel pen and pad of paper too.

Lastly, moving right along if any BLACKWOMEN are peeping this make sure you extend your HOSPITALITY to the brothers. Oh how sweet it is to be LOVED by you...the BLACKWOMAN.

Does anyone know if Houston has a public transportation system whereby a brother can bypass being ripped off by a taxi?

Brothers, it really would be nice if host brothers can parlay transportation into the equation insofar arriving brothers (hint hint TEXAS BROTHERS). DAMN IT! BRING BACK PLEDGING!

Nothing ticks me off more than to see a number of ALPHA BROTHERS all headed to the same direction and being in need of a ride to the same place but struggling w/getting there. DAMN IT! BRING BACK PLEDGING!

I am not going to be suckered into shelling out $50 bucks for a one-way ride to the hotel. So, IF ANYONE has insight into public transportation that can get a brother to the convention hotel PLEASE hit me up.

Lastly, IF you just so happen to be a BLACK WOMAN who would like to help your fellow BLACK MAN not men (sorry Bros, but I am for myself on this one) out by way of providing such a kind gesture do not hesitate to respond. I will be willing to treat you to few hooks and a bite to eat pending a few pertinent matters to be worked out.

I am from Houston and they do have a light-rail system. However, this system only runs primarily on Main Street from the Reliant Arena to the Downtown Houston area. It will be good to travel the system if you are planning on doing any sightseeing.

I know a few women that will be participating in the festivities and will be able to help transport the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

You also might want to get in touch with the Eta Mu Chapter (IGNUT) at Univ. of Houston to see what kind of carpooling arrangements they have made. Hope this helps!
