Most chapters on campus are sitting at around 14-25 members. Campus total is 45 although most chapters haven't been anywhere close to that in recent years.
Quota last year was 6 with some chapters gaining an addition.

this year there is approx. 131 girls signed up so far. hopefully that # will be larger by tomorrow.

Just to add to AAgammagirl...I am going to be involved with recruitment on Saturday (house tours) and Pref (I'm probably going to be on kitchen duty...not sure yet), so I'll have more info those days than the days I am not at the house.

I hope more girls will sign up too...I think having Round 1 in classrooms might give the sororities more attention...

What is quota at UofT this year? When I lived in TO in Sept 2000-Sept 2001, it was 5 and chapters were around 20.

we won't know what quota is until all women sign bid cards;
so we won't know quota until after pref night is over. obviously we're hoping quota will be 7 or 8 (in our dreams!!).

Just got back from Round 2.....

I was put on kitchen duty this afternoon, so I didn't get to meet the PNMs at all. From what my sisters have said, approximately 60 girls came to the house tours this afternoon. We served drinks and our theme was "The Garden Party." The girls wore pink and white AGD shirts with white or floral skirts.

If AAgammagirl has more info U of T FR, maybe she can fill you in!

Edited to add more info

sorry i haven't been on here in a few days, i have been out of town and nowhere near a computer.
i had a small update from my mvp and she said that about 80 girls went through house tours on sat. and that they seemed very interested in greek life.
i am going to be getting a more thorough update this evening after philanthropy round (i hope) and will post more details then.
i do know that there are no legacies for any chapter going through FR this year. in the past we may have 1 or 2 legacies rush on our campus.

here's an update:
so as of right now, after philanthropy round, there are approx. 60 girls still in the process.
our theme was pink, for the CIBC Run for the Cure, and the chapter had girls make cookies for a bake sale that we will be having after FR is over to raise money for the run. the pnm's and actives had a lot of fun tonight and the chapter is looking forward to tomorrow (pref).
our return rates were a little low tonight so we're hoping that tonight we really shined and the pnm's could really get a feeling of our chapter's personality.
there really isn't any info regarding return rates for other chapters, (although i wouldn't share it if i did). although there are 2 chapters that had a lot good feedback, 1 of them that is usually strong and 1 that is a bit of a surprise. i will not reveal who the chapters are until after FR is over (maybe).
tomorrow is pref so i will let you know what happens probably on weds. as it will most likely be a late night tomorrow night.
oh yeah, quota could be a high as 8 +1 or 9 right on. this would be an extremely high quota for our campus. i think quota will be at least 7 which is great!!

well, the results are in.
these are final #'s:
150 women registered for FR
75 actually came out to FR
56 signed bid cards
11 girls dropped out btwn philanthropy and pref
8 girls did not sign bid cards
2 girls ended up mismatched
quota was 7 plus some additions

Chapters matched the following:
Tridelta- 7+1
KKG- 7+1
AOII-7+1
AGD-7+1
Gamma Phi-7+1
Pi Phi- 7+1
A Phi-5

Congratulations to all chapters. Quota of 7 is terrific on our campus. Unfortunately, there was an VERY unpanhellenic action on the part of 1 of the chapters. The rest of the chapters on campus are LIVID to say the least.
It is very unusual on our campus to have such a big drop of women drop out btwn philanthropy and pref. As well, it is unheard of girls refusing to sign bid cards. At bid card signing, there were actually 11 girls that wouldn't sign bid cards. our panhellenic advisor was able to convince (?) or explain the importance of signing a bid card to 3 of the 11 girls who didn't want to sign. however, the 8 girls who didn't sign said they didn't want to b/c they were going to go through COR. They were told by a chapter on campus that they could go through COR (they actually knew what COR meant which is weird b/c our campus is not really cut-throat or anything and most pnm's barely understand the FR process to begin with - i'm not meaning to insult any pnms here) . needless to say of the 11 girls refusing to sign bid cards, 3 of them changed their mind, signed and all bid the same chapter. we have a strong belief that the remaining 8 women will be going to this chapter during COR. The remaining chapters on campus are furious b/c quota would have been 8!!! + some additions. this is a big difference on a small campus as ours. the campus panhellenic advisor said that she had better not see ANY of these 8 women show up on this chapter's roster this year. it is such a shame b/c all chapters did so well this year and then to have this happen. it ruins it for everyone. i guess panhellenic relations need to be greatly improved upon on our campus.

on a side note, if you haven't figured it out, i am an alumna of Gamma Phi Beta and Taualumna is an alumna of Alpha Gamma Delta.
My chapter had a 100% return rate btwn philanthropy and pref. i am absolutely thrilled for them b/c usually our biggest drop is then. so my chapter really improved this area/round and i couldn't be more proud of them.
Congrats to all chapters on their hard work!!

ETA: fixing #'s b/c they didn't add up
