T-Mobile Sidekick II
I am considering getting one of these. Does anyone have one and are they worth the hassle of such a cumbersome devise?

I just purchased one as a birthday gift to my self about 2 months ago. Trust me, it will be soooo worth it, especially if you know folks who also have it. Several of my Sorors (including my chapter Basileus) have it. You will have a tmail email account which will allow you to send emails instead of wasting your phone minutes.
Sidekick II features:
Privacy Lock
Downloadables
AOL instant messenger
Yahoo instant messenger
Email
Phone (of course, lol)
Phone voice mail and text messaging
Address Book
Web Browser/Internet
Camera
Calendar
To Do Task List
Notes
Games (downloadables)

???
I already have a Nextel for the phone service...after many angry phone calls and "attempts" at writing stern letters I have really good service with that. But I need a PDA...you know email, appointments, etc. So if you were to take the phone feature away...is it still worth it?

2 of my sorors have the sidekick and didn't sign up for the phone feature at all. They still have their regular cell phones for phone calls. I included the phone feature with mine only b/c my contract with AT&T/Cingular had already expired and I was paying for month to month service with them.

I'm saving for a Pocket PC after weighing my options about the Sidekick II. I'd rather use MS Outlook for my appointments, since that's what I use on my PC and I could just synch it every morning/evening.

Okay...would it be a better move for me to just upgrade my nextel phone to the newest Blackberry?
