oh yea i guess that would make sense........i was thinking you meant something completely different, like a nasty, gross bug type thing that people want to kill.
Dr. House (on the Fox TV show with the same name) often refers to new fetuses in his unsuspecting patients as parasites. He had a whole monologue with one on how people grow to love their parasites, often naming them and dressing them up in clothes. I thought it was funny because each time he mentions "parasite," his patients get all bent out of shape.
