Idina Menzel

Personally, I hope neither of them get it. Alice Ripley should get this role. On another note, Philip Quast is seen as the front runner to play Peron.

Another Javert as Peron, huh? I saw the recent North American tour with Phillip Hernandez as Peron.

The other person I've herd that is in the running is Alum Armstrong. So, you have two Les Mis alum running for Peron. I think Philip Quast would be a wonderful Peron.

I'm cringing at the thought of either Madona or Idina being Evita. Madonna can't hit the high note and Idina love to screech her way through a show. Alice Ripley all the way baby.
