Coming back?

I would like to pose a question or situation to the members here, basically it is this:

I was basically booted from my fraternity over a year ago for basically stupidy and not attending events, etc. I then left to study abroad for a full year and now that I am returning to the US, I know I have matured a great deal and wish to rejoin it if possible. My question is, is this possible? Thanks in advance.
