I not only watched it, I recorded it on the DVR.
CeCe Peniston and Arrested Development were worth the price of admission. The rest were horrible. Let's hope The Knack makes things worthwhile next week. Because no matter how bad it may be, I'll be watching every week.
Damn you Mike Score, damn you! Calling that train wreck AFOS is the same as calling me the new Miss Universe. I own your albums, I saw you live, and that mess tonight SO was not A Flock of Seagulls. Damn you.

I saw this new show just to see what it was about. I agree that CeCe and Arrested Development were good. Tiffany was good when she sang "I Think We're Alone Now" but messed up "Breakaway".
And Loverboy and A Flock of Seagulls---all I can say is that the last 20+ years have been hard on them.
I did I hear right that Vanilla Ice will be on next week?

I turned it on at the beginning to see who was going to perform. I didn't know that they would all perform in the first half hour and then come back to do a current song for the second half hour. I heard Mike Reno sing the first few lines of " Hero" and quickly changed the channel. It was so hard to see them in this capacity. And if he mentions those damn leather pants in another interview I will scream!

I LOVE part of the concept....I'd like to hear from all the 80's one hit wonders to see how they are now.
I don't understand the competition part of it though...the winner gets a recording contract? WTF...I guess so they can perform on the show "One hit Wonder of the 2000's" in about 20 years.
Seriously, though...I MISS Arrested Development!!! LOVED THEM...and their songs actually had messages. I'd like to see them come back and comment on the state of affairs today.

I caught this last night and jitterbug13, you heard right, Mr. Ice Ice Baby himself is on the way next week...
It was fun to see Arrested Development again. The rest was kind of sad...seemed wrong to have the older acts cover today's "stars". I also kept thinking it must be hard for someone like Tiffany to be that famous at age 15 and then have it all go away.

HAHAHA!! The "winner" didn't get a recording contract, but a donation to the charity of their choice.
My roommates and I almost died when Flock of Seagulls played Ryan Cabrera's "On the Way Down".

Yeah I kinda liked Arrested Development. They were actually really good. I think if they had kept making music they'd still be around.

Highlights were Tiffany singing "I think we're alone now" and watching Arrested Development. What happened to them? They sounded great.
The rest of the show was horrible. Who was the host? Couldn't they get one of the MTV VJs to do it? Also, I would have rathered heard the artists do two of their own songs.

I caught a piece of CeCe's performance. I thought she looked a hot mess with the shiny weave. I never thought of her as a one hit wonder though.

Vanilla Ice is going to do a rock/hip hop version of Destiny Child's "Survivor" tonight.

I thought it was ironic that Vanilla Ice agreed to do Ice, Ice Baby. When he was on The Surreal Life 2, he made such a big deal about trying to escape that identity.
Whatever though. I thought he was hot 15 years ago...and I still think he is!
