The Voices of Tigger & Piglet Passed Away

Paul Winchell (voice of Tigger) and John Fiedler (voice of Piglet) both passed away this weekend.

Tigger was my favorite Winnie the Pooh character. I'm very sad.

The guy who did Pooh's voice, Sterling Holloway, was from a town just down the road and he died a few years ago. The people in the town were heartbroken--they named a major street after him.

I remember seeing Paul Winchell and his puppets on tv when I was little. Does this ever make me feel old.

ETA - I just realized who John Fiedler was - little mousey Mr. Peterson on The Bob Newhart Show (one of my favorite shows.)

Paul Winchell was also a inventor.

He held the first patent of an artifical heart.
