I can't believe how EVERY SINGLE ONE applies to me!!! Well - with the following minor exceptions.

#11 Duck Tales song: I never really knew all the words but I could hold my own!

#18 Jem: I feel like I was older than kindergarten...

I also never really got into "Duck Tales." And I HATE E.T. and have still never seen Gremlins. But I could recite Goonies to you.

Also -- my jean jacket wasn't Joradache, it was Guess!

But yeah, I just had MAJOR flashbacks to being a kid while reading this list.

Oh, and I still have all my tapes of recorded songs.

I got most of them. I think I was 7 1/2 or even 8 when JEM was big, so definitely not kindergarten. I also never thought that She-Ra and He-Man should hook up because, well they're siblings!

I didn't read "hook up" as a sexual thing. I thought it referred to them fighting together???

Dood. It's totally Shack, not Shelter.

"Duck Tales, ooo wee ooo" (that's all I can remember from the theme song. Though I did watch it pretty much every day after school.

Me and my friends STILL play MASH! And I was totally that girl who owned all of the Babysitter's Club books. Wow, this list is great.

I didn't ever want a Cabbage patch kid, and I am terrified of ET, but other than that, right on the money.

Okay, I'm having major flashbacks now... and cringing at some of them...

I kind of liked Multiples. They were comfy! Haha... it was apparently the rule that whoever was working the Multiples department at our local dept. store had to wear Multiples head to toe. One day I went into that store and the person working the department... was a man. He was decked out in (IIRC) a tunic, one of those tube tops worn as a belt, and leggings. Now, Multiples were definitely intended for women........

Oh, my this brings back memories... Most good. THANKS for posting that list.

I hated jelly shoes then, hate 'em now. (and that goes for the jelly purses) I'm very glad I was just old enough not to have been into the Strawberry Shortcake, Jem, Duck Tales stuff. I remember it, but it was for younger kids.

I *loved* Pee Wee Herman sooo much!!! I made my mom go out and buy me the talking Pee Wee doll for Christmas. She was mortified (I think I was in HS at the time...). Recently she told me it was still in her attic - box and all - if I don't claim him soon, in the garbage he'll go! (It's been 20+ years, I think she's full of hot air.)

- I currently have the Fraggle Rock theme song on my mp3 list *nods* (Also have Gummi Bears )

- I once lost a soccer ball Popple out of my school bus window when I was in grade school. (I'm still upset about that, really.)

- I have a new set of Ramona/4th Grade Nothing books for my future classroom

- I'm still mad at my (now deceased) dog for ripping apart my Beagle Pound Puppy...

---This list brought back some memories

ETA: I also still have the Duck Tales Nintendo video game

I'm desperate to find as many JEM TAPES as possible. I see them on ebay every now and then and I've only been able to get one.

I also tried to start my own babysitter's club and I named myself CEO. Me and my two best friends ended up having CEO only parties.

Are Mulitples the same thing as Units? I remember there being a Units store at the mall and I also remember making fun of the people who wore them, haha.
