Rize & Tommy the Clown: next big dance craze?
Saw "Rize" this week - film about an LA dance craze with a lot of glamour, action, and showmanship, mostly involving poor minority kids.
Many national trends and obsessions start out among these groups, so I'll be looking for Rize and Krunk parties in the GLOs this fall.
Pretty good movie - documentary.
PS: Also liked "Mad Hot Ballroom" about a ballroom dance program in NYC elem. schools.
