Pins a site
I went to this site and was upset that someone had got a hold of our frat and Zoror pins. I am upset that our pins are on sale. I had to earn mine. Here is the direct link to the pins. How do we stop this? Why would a Zoror give her pin up? help me figure this out.

It's an annoyance but it happens. Question though, why do you write "Zoror"?

Last year there was an AKA pin for sale on ebay. I tried to bid on it, however the highest bidder paid $200 for it. I hoped it was a soror who won it. Could your national organization buy it? Could they sue? I thinks it's very disrespectful.

Unfortunately I don't think this is as rare as you might think. Many times the person has died, has lost the item, or had the item stolen. It's usually not a case of someone giving the item away. Hopefully it will be purchased by a Soror or Frat. I hate to see any of the D9 items for sale like that.

An NPC member once made a good suggestion, and that was to specify in your will what you want to happen with your greek items. Actually, I *think* I read on here that one NPC org requests that the family return the pin back to HQ when the member dies as it is considered the sorority's property. I might have misread.
Now if the pin is stolen, or comes up missing, I would think you can treat it like your other property for insurance purposes. Have a record of it by taking pictures or video tape it, thus making it easier to re-claim.

I did forward the links to one of our national officers. I got a response back today so they will look into it. Also Sigmadiva what you say is very good advice unfortunately even in this day in age a lot of our people still do not have wills. My family knows how I feel about my Zeta items so I have it in my will and I have verbally told them that they are to be passed to other members of the family (also Sorors) or returned to HQs.

Well Sorors,
I lost my Sorority Pin about 2 years after I crossed...
recently I found a Pin on Ebay and I won it...
I felt good to get it back in the family and also to have a replacement pin
I asked the seller why he was selling it and where he got it from, he said that someone found it in an old box of stuff and brought it to his shop so he sold it on ebay...he is a jewelry dealer...
