Ivies Beyond The Wall
Sorors,
I hope this message finds all of you in good health and spirits.
I am writing this message to inform you of the passing of Soror Bevin G. Benn 51-BA-05. The only information I have is that she died in a car accident on Monday evening headed back to Tallahassee from New Orleans.
If you are in the New Orleans area I have included the funeral arrangements for Soror Bevin. Please keep her family and line sisters in your prayers.
Soror Bevin's body is located at: Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home,
1615 St Philip Street
New Orleans, LA 70116

The service will be Saturday morning at 10am at:
Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral Temple Location
2140 Mirabeau Avenue
New Orleans, LA 70122
(504) 283-8757
(The church is on the corner of Elysian Field and Mirabeau)

To my Soror and friend PinkIvy this is such sad news. Thanks for posting the address info. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Soror Bevin and the Beta Alpha Chapter.

I didn't know she was a soror! My co-worker mentioned this to me yesterday. She was related to my co-worker's son's girlfriend.

My condolences to Soror Bevin's family and her BA family. It's so hard to hear of the loss of young life. My prayers are with her family & friends at this time.

Everyone,
Thanks so much for the condolences and prayers, I will be passing them on to the chapter. Spring 2005 is doing well, I spoke with several of them on Friday. A memorial service is being planned for the Fall Semester, so I will keep you posted.

I too am sorry to hear of her passing. I'm related to one of her neighbors. From everything I heard about Bevin she was a wonderful person.
