Laundry/Dry Cleaning problem
OK So I have a pair of patent leather white sneakers. But they have this little fabric area too. Anyway it started to rain one night that I went out and that little fabric area got dirty. This is making me spaz out.
Is there a way to clean it? I have put sneakers into washing machines before but does patent leather get messed up?

I would maybe try doing it by hand, with an old toothbrush and some detergent or Resolve or something.

Try oxi-clean mixed with water, using the toothbrush method. that stuff works miracles - i spilled a strawberry smoothie on white pants and it came right out!

Do not put patent leather in the washing machine. I'd take these to your shoe guy or dry cleaners.

Try using Dryel or one of those home dry-cleaning kits. Usually they come w/ a stain remover that you rub on the fabric before putting it in the dryer.

Do not! Dryel patent leather! The heat in the dryer will ruin them!
Your best bet is to use baking soda or oxyclean powder and a small amount of water to make a thick paste, then scrub that in with a toothbrush, wipe it off, and let it air dry.

Use a toothbrush and some laundry detergent.
Use some water first, add a little bit of soap, scrub, and rinse, let air dry. They will be fine.

What kind of fabric is it? My recommendations will depend on this.

Maybe you could get one of thos bleach pens and just apply it to the affected area and rinse?? I don't know if the bleach would be too strong in that little pen thingy though!!
