Public pleasure

Sometimes you're out and about with your new fling. The two of you feel great -- you're both still excited about each other, and you can see longevity (or at least Spring Quarter), in each others' eyes. So moved by your friend's company, you grow horny. Where do you head? Sometimes the call of love is stronger than the call to propriety.
I guess the most obvious place to have sex would be on a bed, in a room, which is, at the very least, semi-private. (Yes, that means semi-private hospital rooms are OK, too.) As it turns out, many students do enjoy having sex in obvious places -- obvious in the sense that these places are highly visible and public and generally do not have the privacy a bedroom affords; obvious in the sense that if anyone stopped and took a look, it would be entirely obvious that, yes, there was a guy getting a blowjob in the back of the movie theater.
I'm not going to share these venues to diffuse knowledge or to recommend one location over another, but more to let you in on what I know. It's possible these locations will inspire you and make you more comfortable with having sex outside the privacy of your own home.
As a student living in a dorm, most often with a roommate, it's hard to come by a place to have privacy, so rather than look for utmost privacy, start looking for the best that you can get. The best that you can get should not include, however, having sex in your own room while your roommate lies sleeping nearby. Instead try the showers in the dorm. It's warm and private, and the mess is a fairly easy clean up. For courtesy reasons though, I recommend using the shower only in the late hours of the day so that the shower will be cleaned out the following day prior to its most frequent usage times.
For those with a more bold, exhibitionistic personality, any public place works -- just use your imagination to fit the location with your needs. I do request, however, that only attractive people exercise this option, because, let's be honest, it would be more awkward to see ugly people having sex in public than it would be to see two hot people all over each other on, say, the Lakefill. Or on the El, a la "Risky Business."
In hearing stories of public sex, the only time I can say I've felt personally offended was when I heard how a friend of mine got a handjob through his pants pocket while sitting in church. I think the only reason I was offended was that I was sitting a couple of pews away, getting no action. But I think others might be offended for different reasons.
Wherever the place, we all are stricken sometimes by a yen for ass. I guess the guiding rule would be to exercise respect for the environment and people around you. Or at the very least, try not to get caught.
