Action/Horror/Sci-Fi movies...

So the Romantic movies thread is just taking off and I thought it would be fun to start one with the other end of the line.

Here are some of my favorite action/horror/sci-fi movies...

Black Hawk Down
Okay, Ridley Scott rocks! Jerry Bruckheimer rocks! Cast of total hotties (ie. Orlando Blooom, Josh Hartnett, Eric Bana). Plus, being a history buff I just love everything about this movie.

Pearl Harbor
(can you tell I like Jerry Bruckheimer?)
Again, two hotties (Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett, yummy ). I absolutely LOVE the battle sequence when Pearl Harbor is attacked. They made it look so real, which is why I love this movie so much.

And you all may laugh at me on this last one (for now)...

Star Trek:Nemesis
Okay, I will admit that I am a huge Trekkie. I have loved the show since 1993 I think. And I loved Nemesis because the writers finally got my two favorite characters married (to one another) and it only took 15 years to do it!!!

4 Pirates of the Carribean This counts as action right? Plus, Johnny Depp.... ::sigh::

5. Matrix I didn't really like the second and the thrid ones, but the first one was awesome on many levels!

6. Dogma Kinda fits all of those. Such a funny movie. I really love anything with Jay and Silent Bob (for some reason my hubby wants to base his life off of Silent Bob...what can I say, he's a "special child" :P )

I remember when they were filming Dogma locally...

Okay, this is more of a "cult" movie than anything else, but yes, I am a former follower of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

8) The Bourne Identity
9) The Bourne Supremecy

Definately agree with Pirates and Johnny Depp. Total eye candy.

10. Star Wars (all five so far, although my fave is Return of the Jedi)

11. Armageddon
Ben Affleck. Need I say more

12. U-571
Matthew Mc (yeah I can't spell the rest of his name). Yummy

12 Monkeys---yes, I know it's weird, but I love it.

(I like the Rocky Horror Picture Show too----you aren't alone!)

Event Horizon was a good Sci-Fi/Horror/whatever you want to call it movie!
