Kappa Delta sorority to host football fund-raiser

Kappa Delta sorority will hold a flag football fund-raiser Saturday to support child abuse prevention.
The KD Kick-Off will start at 10 a.m. at Penberthy Intramural Field at Texas A&M University. Several Aggie football players will be on hand to give awards to the winning teams.
Seven bands are scheduled to perform during the event, which is free.
Eighty percent of proceeds from contributions will be given to Family Outreach of Bryan-College Station, and the rest will go to Prevent Child Abuse America.
Over the past five years, Texas A&M Kappa Deltas have raised more than $47,000 for the agencies.
