Other than getting retarded and banging hot chicks, what are some other things to do? Everyone I know that has been hasnt done anything other than screw women and get trashed on good drugs.

When i was there, we did touristy stuff during the day. There are some good museams there. The Anne Frank house is quite an experience. We rented paddleboats and paddled along the canal. Sat at some of the outdoor cafes and watched the street performers.

Of course the Red Light Dictrict Area You can find a penis fountain, the Hash Museum, triple Xs dildo/bollards along the line (thus, the XXX term came from), or Hash Brownies. Absinthe is legal, so don't miss out the opportunity to have a shot in the 'coffee shop'

Anne Frank Huis is interesting, along with the van Gogh Museum. If you care for a day excursion, you can go to Zaanse Schans to see windmills along a river, or Volendam village: a fisherman village that died out when they constructed the North Dam, or even to the Zuiderzee/North Sea Dam.

There's the Heineken Museum too. I heard the Van Gigh museum was good but I didn't make it - oh, and I forgot to talk for about 3 days while I was there.

Rent Bikes but be careful - you ride down the center lane - i couldn't speak up to say i didn't want to leave the park - crazy

MOST IMPORTANTLY - Watch out for clowns on stilts approaching you after midnight in dodgy corners of the city while you're...umm..whatever you are - THAT was the most frieghtening thing I have ever experienced - cos (for whatever reason) I couldn't talk and it seemed like some dark evil thing going on around me - Crazy stuff

Try to get into the Flying Pig

You'll get lost at some point - every street looks the same but you can find you're way back fairly easily

Look for the guy who juggles a soccer ball - he's amazing & he's always there

If you go to the Van Gogh museum, say you're under 23 and you pay 14 euros for the museumkartk pass (or something by that name). It's 9 euros just for that museum, and it works for a whole year on all the popular museums in Amsterdam. Heineken and Ann Frank aren't included I think.

I stayed at a hostel (Flying Pig) so that was my happy place while there. Two streets from the red light district and everything was in walking distance.

At night, try a sex show, but be warned they are over-priced rip offs and the women are fugly at some places (even the bouncers will admit to it). Go with a group and they'll try to lure with a tiny discount. Enjoy the coffee shops or chill out somewhere. There are so many things to see and do there, you should have an awesome time.

One word on banging those hot chicks. I went by myself so I didn't want to return with any extra baggage (catch my drift) so I skipped the union of prostitutes magical 50 euro all-inclusive package. Whatever you do, watch your wallet. Some fellow travelers I talked to didn't exactly get what they paid for and in some instances were confronted with a large burly bouncer demanding more money. Use your two heads wisely and ignore those fancy street urinals.

Don't remember him - and that sounds like something I would remember - so I guess not.

The guy with the soccer ball - I went and chatted to him - he has never played a day in his life - I met another guy this year who knew him - and attested to it - too expensive to play in the leagues he said
