Old South period dress

My chapter, Alpha Phi at Duke, has not traditionallly had period dress at Old South. Some of us are looking to start that tradition up, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places to rent/ buy the costumes.
Thanks,
John Scarborough

Check local costume shops...but I really recommend any number of the costumes you can find in the back sections of the pattern company catalogs. Hire a competent seamstress to make it and you will be money ahead, but you will have something that can be available for the chapter to use for years for "Old South".
