I'm interviewing the guy who created Family Guy tommorow

The Daily Aztec is letting me do a conference call interview with the creator of Family Guy as well as the voice of Brain, Peter, Stewie and others, Seth Macfarlane.

Since I'm such a huge fan of the show, I'm so stoked. A lot of the folks I've told are kinda like "eh", but damn, I'm really lucky considering I'm just a college reporter.

So, with this, Sigma Alpha Mu showing the new Family Guy and American Dad on campus tommorow, Wednesday being 4:20 (MY HOLIDAY), finding out if I can go to the DSP Leadership Institute, my interview for the internship in New York with CBS this Summer, this is gonna be a pretty damn great week...

The downside is, this can't go on forever....

Oh, and GO PADRES B*TCHES!

Anyway, wish me luck guys....

wo, awesome. Tell him the That Girl parody was the funniest thing ever (and I was a little scared that someone else remembered all the words to that song).

That's a great interview to get, especially from your college paper. Good luck with the conference call and with the interview.

It definitely sounds like you're having a good week.

The conference went pretty well. Asked him a couple questions about the upcoming season, but there were a lot of people so I couldn't ask him any more than that. Anyway, I'll give you the link when my article comes out.

That's the problem with the big conference calls; I got on a pretty good one in high school but was only able to get in a few questions.

Glad to hear the conference went well.

They showed the season premire of both shows today on campus (Thanks Sammy).

The premiere of Family Guy was HILARIOUS. My sides seriously hurt the whole episode. The way they introduced the show back was PURE GENIUS, and a priceless shot at Fox. The plot was sort of all over the place, but it's ok considering the whole structure (or lack thereof) of the show. There were some gags that kinda went to far even by FG standards, but trust me, this was well worth the wait, and the end was killer too.

We didn't stay for American Dad. Sorry, just didn't think it was funny.

Has anyone else seen the episode where they enter the witness protection plan? That one is my favorite because of the character of the old neighbor who is a pedophile. Hilarious! That guy was only on a couple of episodes, but I really liked him.
