Please help me diagnose this dog

Ok I admit when I first saw this video, I thought it was funny. But after the 5th time I watched it, I realized, there is definately something wrong with this dog. Is he mentally ill? You tell me what you think.

Awww that looks more sad than funny.

I hope his(or her) owners take him to a vet to check him out just in case.

Personally, if my dog was acting that way, I would probably get scared and take her to a vet before sending the video to America's Funniest Home Videos.... or get the Dog Whisperer guy to come and check her out.

Hmmm speaking of which - maybe that is what they shoudl do.

My parents watch that show, and there was this one story about a german shepard that would chase it's tail NONSTOP like every second of the day. The owners thought it was cute & funny at first, but one morning, they opened the garage door to find him all bloody because he apparently caught his tail and started chewing it. The Dog Whisperer guy said it was b/c they were bred to be working dogs and he needed a "job" to keep him busy. He suggested they use a little backpack of sorts that had bottled water and he carried them around all day and didnt' chase his tail anymore b/c he had a job to do.

The leg is wired, seriously. They are pulling its leg like they are pulling your leg. Watch... The dog growls at its own leg because it doesn't like it being pulled with fishing wire. There is nothing wrong with the dog. It's a case of someone trying to be funny.

That's pretty mean. Someone ought to "wire" the owners -- maybe a little shock therapy would help.

That is just sick! I swear people should have a license to have animals! Some people treat them like crap.

I can't see a fishing wire? I thought maybe someone would be usng it from behind the sofa, but there are several instances in the video that show the area slightly above the sofa and I don't see anyone there?

You can't see the fishing wire. But, I believe they are pulling it from the side. A dog doesn't normally pull his leg in the motion that he's making in the video.

That's just plain mean to toy with an animal like that.
