Listen up Caucasoids, Mongoloids, and Negroids!
You know, I'm not *every* sock puppet on GC. ewww
This is the second or third time I have been accused of saying nasty things about GCers under some alter ego. If I had to say something bad about someone, I would post it under this name, as I had MANY times.

Dude, if somebody thinks you're that sock puppet, they have to start paying more attention on GC. I thought that one was pretty obvious.

It's funny, though, how IP checks always prove otherwise.

So here's a dumb question. How exactly does an IP check work?
I thought your computer gets one every time you log on. So, on a LAN, you'd just have one for awhile, but a dialup you'd switch pretty frequently.
I'm guessing that's not right, though, or an IP check would be pretty pointless.

Even dynamic IPs are issued in 'blocks' corresponding to the physical area that you 'dialed' from - the odds of two computers dialing to the same bank of computers (or college dorm complex, or dsl routing station, or etc) are relatively small.
When I talk like this, it is quite difficult to have sex.
